The Supported Learning Program is a fee based program ($1,500 per semester) that provides comprehensive support to students with specific documented Learning Disabilities and ADHD.
The SLP includes:
Mandatory weekly meetings with an SLP instructor
Monitoring student's progress throughout the semester
Testing accommodations
Outlines and proof-reading services
Helping students identify preferred learning styles
Peer note-takers when appropriate
Helping students plan for effective time management
Encouraging self-advocacy skills
Providing strategies for effective note-taking, studying, etc.
Helping students balance social/academic life
Providing assistive technology as needed (Books on CD, Dragon Naturally Speaking, Kurzwell, Intel reader)
